7D and CFF

Sometimes when I start a new blog post I have no idea how to start them.  There is so much on my mind that I want to get down that I just don't even know where to start or even how to articulate my thoughts, so maybe just a random list today.

I ordered my 7D on Friday and it should be here tomorrow.  I am so frickin' excited for this camera.  I have been feeling the limitations of my XSi for some time now and have been feeling that if I really want this whole photography thing to work, the XSi just isn't going to cut it.  I had really debated between the 5DM2 and the 7D and decided after much, much research and thought that the 7D was the right choice for me.

I also ordered some stands and seamless paper, a must for anyone wanting a "home studio".  For now I'm just going to stick with my speedlite for my lighting, but will eventually get a studio light starter set.  I'm banking on using the outdoors for my studio the majority of the time, but will definitely need and will probably find very useful an indoor studio as well.

I have raised $110 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation walk we're having on May 7th!  My mom is doing a fundraiser at work for April and my brother is looking into the matching program at his work as well.  I also have a team of about 10 walkers so far, too.  Yay for my friends and family, who are all SO supportive.  Love you all!!  Let's find a cure for my little boy!!!!!!!
